In our third installment, BUEI heads out to BIOS-Bermuda Institute of Ocean Sciences to meet the team behind one of the longest running research sites in the world, the Devil’s Hole Microbial Ecology Laboratory.

In this episode we learn about the issues the ocean faces with increasing dead spaces becoming more common at coastlines around the world. The researching being conducted by BIOS at Devil’s Hole provides vital datasets to help other scientists around the world to better understand and potentially combat ocean dead zones.
