The Bermuda Underwater Exploration Institute (BUEI) is thrilled to announce that we will be
hosting ‘Chips in, the Ocean Wins’, a Casino Night Fundraiser and Silent Auction on November
18th from 7-11pm. Dress your best, play your favourite games, and contribute to a meaningful
cause at this gala fundraiser!
Our entire facility will be transformed for an exciting and glamorous evening where you can
indulge in Craps, Blackjack, Roulette, Crown & Anchor and more! Gaming tables will be
stationed in both our upper and lower lobbies, music from DJ Chubb will play throughout the
building and a ‘High Roller’ lounge held inside our Ocean Discovery Centre. Special thanks to
Goslings and Grey Whale Gin!
Tickets begin at $175 and include a complimentary welcome cocktail or a mocktail curated by
Dae the Dream Artist, gourmet handpassed small plates and hors d oeuvres served throughout
the evening by the Harbourfront Restaurant, shuttle transport, and a raffle entry. You will also
have a chance to bid on several great prizes in our silent auction, including golf lessons with
Island Games Gold Medal winner Ebonie Cox, a VIP stay at the Reefs and much more!
Interested in upgrading to the High Roller Lounge for the ultimate VIP thrill? Our ‘High Roller’
Lounge will host a maximum of 50 people and will be open to those who have purchased the
High Roller Package which includes entry into the event as a package of games chips purchased
in advance. The ‘High Roller’ lounge will also have its own private beverage service and food
service, a game table and reserved onsite parking.
As a registered non-profit charity (#326), BUEI relies on the generosity of the public and their
continued support. Our team is excited to welcome those in attendance to our Casino Night
Fundraiser and promise a night of enjoyment, entertainment, and sophistication. When you
win, the ocean wins!
Unable to grace us with your presence? BUEI’s Virtual Casino is open from 8.00-9.30pm, so
wherever you may be, you can still get your ‘Chips In’ in real time on Roulette, Blackjack and
Racing, while supporting our mission. Your virtual ticket includes 90 minutes of live, hosted
game play (card tables, roulette and racing!), one raffle ticket, and advance access to our
